PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5)

The PCL-5 is a 20-item checklist that can be used both as a diagnostic tool to help determine a PTSD diagnosis and as a standardized measure of symptom change pre and post trauma treatment. It was developed by the Department of Veterans Affairs PTSD Center. Checklist items are aligned with the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for PTSD. This checklist was adopted as part of the MEMI protocol and is one measure of treatment success.
