Who this training is for
MEMI Trauma Training is for you if:
- You are a coach, hypnotist, or NLP practitioner who works with individuals struggling with trauma, PTSD or related mental health issues.
- You’ve found that mainstream approaches to resolving trauma symptoms have either not worked or caused too much distress for both you and the individual.
- Your goal is to help those you work with to heal, with procedures that are not complicated, distressing, or retraumatizing–and that bring forth tangible changes in an individual’s life.
Learning Objectives
We start with recent insights from neuroscience. You learn how the limbic system triggers survival responses. We then cover ways to settle the autonomic nervous system in trauma care. This includes standard ANS theory and Polyvagal Theory. We compare pathogenic and salutogenic frames. The focus stays on client affirming practice and physical regulation to reduce symptoms.
Technical Requirements for Participation
In order to join the online training, you will need a laptop and/or computer and a reliable internet connection. Due to the nature of the eye movement, we recommend that you join this training from a desktop or laptop (not a phone).
All of the necessary information in order to join the class will be sent ahead of time to registered participants.
