Trauma-informed practice with Adolescents / Marrital / Divorced Work
Detailed Information

I am a seasoned counselling professional with extensive experience working with clients across diverse backgrounds and age groups. I am currently practising full-time within a school setting while also taking on clients in external practice, allowing me to engage with a broad spectrum of presenting concerns across both institutional and community contexts. In addition to direct clinical work, I provide clinical supervision to fellow practitioners, supporting their professional development, ethical decision-making, and reflective practice.

My work spans children, adolescents, adults, and families, enabling me to tailor interventions with sensitivity to each individual’s developmental stage, cultural context, and unique life circumstances. I adopt a trauma-informed approach in my clinical practice, integrating modalities such as Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) and Schema Therapy to address the impact of early relational experiences, maladaptive schemas, and unresolved trauma.

This integrative approach supports deeper processing of underlying emotional patterns while prioritising safety, affect regulation, and adaptive coping. My practice remains client-centred and relationally attuned, balancing evidence-based interventions with responsiveness to each client’s lived experience, relational dynamics, and readiness for therapeutic work.
