I graduated in Clinical and Community Psychology at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo”, with an experimental thesis titled “Conflict, Bullying, and Sports Dropout”, developed during the implementation of the P.E.A.B. (Peer Education Against Bullying) project, scientifically coordinated by the Research and Training Center in Legal Psychology of the University of Urbino, in collaboration with COOSS Marche ONLUS Cooperative (Italy), BAOBAB Association of Barcelona (Spain), and the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom), included in the “Daphne II Program (2004-2008)”, established by the Directorate-General for Justice and Home Affairs of the European Commission.
I specialized in Cognitive and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Scuola Studi Cognitivi in Milan, directed by Dr. Sandra Sassaroli, recognized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) pursuant to Article 3 of Law 56/89.
Master in Mental Training and Sports Psychology, organized and managed by Psymedisport Group, recognized by SPOPSAM (Professional Society of Operators in Sports and Motor Activities Psychology); I am registered in the Sports Psychologists Registry of the Abruzzo Region.
I have been specialized in E.M.D.R. treatment since 2012 through official training by Dr. Isabel Fernandez; I am a member of EMDR Italia Association, and in 2021 I obtained the Practitioner certification issued by EMDR Europe. Practitioners are experienced therapists in EMDR therapy, certified as such by the EMDR Europe Association, having demonstrated competence and experience in EMDR application under the supervision of a certified EMDR Supervisor.
From January 2013 to December 2020, I collaborated with Poliambulatorio Artemedica Adriatica S.r.l., directed by Dr. Vincent Mazzone, in the implementation of the research-action project (of which I am co-author) on “Improving Orthopedic Patient Surgical Compliance”, for the rehabilitation of patients with knee osteoarthritis undergoing total arthroplasty and intervention on persistent musculoskeletal pain.
Since 2017, I am co-founder and co-manager of Studio Mind Lab (www.studiomindlab.it) in Martinsicuro (TE), a reference center for psychological health in the area, which boasts the collaboration of top-profile specialists.
In 2020, my training was enhanced with the First Level Course in Interpersonal Metacognitive Therapy.
In 2022, I specialized in the use of virtual reality applied to psychotherapy, obtaining the Masterclass certification from Idego.
In 2022, I obtained the international certification for Flash Technique, training with its American creator, Dr. Philip Manfield PhD, joining the worldwide network of therapists trained in this evidence-based psychotherapeutic technique.
In March 2023, I obtained certification as a Neurotrainer NeurOptimal® for the specialist use of Dynamic Non-Linear Neurofeedback.
In September 2023, I completed training with UNYTE, directed by Dr. Stephen Porges, for the use of Safe and Sound Protocol, a practical non-invasive application of Polyvagal Theory.
In October 2023, I obtained Advanced level Neurotrainer NeurOptimal® certification, attending the course organized by the Canadian giant Zengar, led by researcher Valdeane W. Brown, Ph.D.
In 2023, I obtained the European Certificate in Psychology, a European standard for education, training, and professional competence in psychology established by a prominent body like the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA). This title represents an important milestone not only for the professional but above all guarantees protection for all those who wish to be assured of receiving high-quality psychological services throughout Europe.
In 2024, together with Dr. Alessandro Di Domenico, I published with the renowned Italian publisher Giovanni Fioriti a book titled “The Flash Technique. Making the Most Overwhelming Traumatic Memories More Accessible and Reprocessable”, which contains information on cutting-edge procedures and protocols for treating psychological trauma and its consequences.
Subsequently in 2024, I refined my training by attending the official course on Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and obtained the Master in Behavioral Neurosciences at Scuola di Neuroscienze® Cerebro to deepen the treatment of neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementias, etc.) using cutting-edge technological tools such as Near-Infrared Photobiomodulation (NIR) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (fTMS), which I use daily in my clinical practice integrated with psychotherapy and neurofeedback.
In April 2025, together with my long-time colleague Dr. Alessandro Di Domenico, I published the first book in Italian on the integration of modern biotechnology with psychotherapy, titled “Dynamical Neurofeedback® NeurOptimal® Integrated with Psychotherapy – Applicative Potentialities for Healthcare and Non-Healthcare Professions”, which will be translated into English and French and distributed internationally worldwide.
In June 2025, I participated as a speaker at the Third International Conference on Flash Technique together with esteemed colleague Dr. Federica Peci, presenting a work titled: “Cocaine Addiction: An Integrated Approach between Psychotherapy, Transcranial Photobiomodulation, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and NeurOptimal®” to an audience of over a thousand clinicians from all over the world.
In November 2025, I advanced in the use of Quantitative (Linear) Neurofeedback and Biofeedback.
In April 2026, I deepened the use of eye movements in psychotherapy, obtaining the international certification in M.E.M.I. (Multichannel Eye Movement Integration), training with its American creator Dr. Mike Deninger, PhD, director of the Tucson Trauma Center in Arizona (USA).
