Massimo Amabili

His clinical work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, psychotherapy and biotechnology. Over the years, he has built a specialized practice integrating EMDR, Flash Technique, Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI), NeurOptimal® Dynamical Neurofeedback, photobiomodulation, transcranial magnetic and electrical stimulation, virtual reality, Safe and Sound Protocol of Dr. Stephen Porges and quantified neurofeedback. He holds international certifications in each of these approaches. In 2026, Massimo became the first certified MEMI Trainer in Italy, authorised by Dr. Mike Deninger to deliver MEMI Level I training to Italian-speaking psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists. He is the co-author of two clinical books — La Flash Technique (Giovanni Fioriti Editore, 2024) and Il Dynamical Neurofeedback® NeurOptimal® integrato alla psicoterapia (YoucanPrint, 2025, with translations underway in English and French) — and has presented his clinical research at national and international conferences, including the Third International Flash Technique Conference, the XXV National AIPS Congress in Rome.

His passion lies in bringing together the most effective neuroscience-informed tools available and making them accessible to clinicians who want to move beyond symptom management toward genuine, lasting transformation for their clients.
