Singapore MEMI Level I Training for therapists

Join Dr. Joachim Lee & Dawn Tan this upcoming November for a two-day Level I MEMI training packed with practical learnings, deep insights about the workings of the brain, networking opportunities, and more.

Led by Dr. Joachim Lee—Senior Principal Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Certified Counselling Supervisor, Neurofeedback Therapist and a Board Certified Hypnotherapist—together with Dawn Tan, this two-day in-person course will focus on how to apply MEMI to your work in your clinical practice.

Opened to psychologists and other mental health practitioners, this training will cover the following:

  1. Introduction to MEMI and the course;
  2. MEMI’s Theoretical model and expanded 10-step protocol;
  3. Step-by-step procedures to deliver MEMI in a clinical or non-clinical setting; 
  4. Scripts and tips for therapists to leverage during sessions; 
  5. Introduction to the theory behind eye movements; 
  6. Eye movement sets, and scope; 
  7. Strategies for interrupting client abreactions during sessions;
  8. Strategies for treating phobias, substance abuse and personal failures;
  9. Assessment techniques (Intensity Scale, SUD Scale and PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5) and related rubrics;
  10. Worksheet for recording session results; 

Who this training is for

MEMI Trauma Training is for you if:

  • You are a therapist, counselor, psychologist, NLP practitioner, hypnotist, coach or first responder peer support specialist who works with individuals struggling with trauma, PTSD or related mental health issues.
