MEMI Certification

Trauma Counselor Certification

Our certification program prepares licensed mental health and medical professionals to use the Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI) protocol.

The certification attests that the certified individual has completed the course of instruction, passed a test of course content with 80% accuracy, has received mentoring in the model’s application, and has been recommended for certification as a level one practitioner by a licensed MEMI trainer.

Its purpose is to provide the basic knowledge and skills necessary to apply the MEMI model—from its theory to its protocol—when working with clients with PTSD, acute stress or lesser traumas.

In order to obtain the MEMI Certification, you’ll have to take one of our trainings first.

How does the MEMI Certification Programme Work?

This fully online program can be taken from anywhere, and it includes multiple components.

Online Lectures and Course Materials

In order to obtain your certification, you’ll have to first complete a Level I MEMI course. Whether you decide to register for an on-demand course or an in-person training event, you’ll have access to video recordings of covered materials, quizzes, worksheets, and handouts that you can review at any time and access/complete at your own pace. No additional books or research are required for purchase.

Quizzes and Evaluations

The MEMI Certification requires passing a 100-item multiple choice test with a minimum grade of 80% or above.

The test takes about an hour and can be taken immediately following course completion or at a later date. It can also be attempted multiple times at no extra cost.

Mentoring with a Licensed MEMI trainer

Once you’ll have passed the Certification test, you’ll have to complete 10 hours of mentoring with a licensed MEMI trainer in order to obtain your certification.
