Join us in welcoming Brian Simmonsas our new licensed MEMI trainer. Brian is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma & stress-related disorders. He and his wife (Dr. Stephanie Thurston-Simmons) co-own and operate both New Solutions Counseling & Trauma Center and HC Solutions Training and Consulting in Southlake, Texas. Both have extensive experience with first responders and human trafficking victims.

Welcome to clinical psychologist Dr. Maria Gear Haugen—our newest licensed MEMI trainer. For almost a decade, she served military veterans at VA PTSD residential clinics in NY state, where she used traditional trauma therapies such as CPT, PE, WET and NET. After adding MEMI to her treatment repertoire, she recognized that MEMI can be a tool for healing both fully diagnosed, highly complicated PTSD clients, as well as those suffering with the after effects of adversity. Dr. H, as she’s affectionately called by clients, is excited to offer MEMI training for those interested in incorporating this innovative technique as a treatment option.
